Antioxidant & Recovery™ — Personalised Recommendation
Your assessment suggests targeted antioxidant and connective tissue support may be beneficial. Here’s how C E B Optima addresses your profile.
ZENUTRI C E B Optima delivers a coordinated combination of buffered Vitamin C (as calcium ascorbate) 250mg, mixed tocopherols Vitamin E concentrate 70mg, and Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) 125mg — three micronutrients with complementary and well-established roles in antioxidant defence, collagen synthesis, immune function, and cellular energy metabolism. Formulated for individuals where dietary intake of these nutrients may be inadequate due to metabolic demand, environmental exposure, or sustained physiological stress.

Understanding Oxidative Stress — Complementary Antioxidant Systems
Oxidative stress arises as a natural by-product of cellular metabolism and is amplified by environmental pollutants, UV radiation, sustained physical exertion, and psychological stress. When antioxidant defences are insufficient relative to free radical production, cellular membranes, proteins, and DNA can be progressively damaged — contributing to accelerated aging, reduced immune capacity, and impaired tissue repair.
Vitamin C (as buffered calcium ascorbate) is the body’s primary water-soluble antioxidant, operating in blood plasma and aqueous cellular compartments to neutralise reactive oxygen species and regenerate other antioxidants including Vitamin E. It is also an essential cofactor for collagen hydroxylation — the enzymatic process by which the triple-helix structure of collagen is stabilised, making it indispensable for connective tissue formation, wound healing, and vascular integrity. The calcium ascorbate form is selected specifically to reduce gastrointestinal irritation associated with acidic ascorbic acid, particularly relevant at higher intake levels.
Mixed tocopherols Vitamin E concentrate (low-alpha type) provides lipid-soluble antioxidant protection within cellular membranes and lipoproteins — the environment where Vitamin C cannot operate. The low-alpha mixed tocopherol blend is preferred over isolated alpha-tocopherol, as it preserves the activity of gamma- and delta-tocopherols which contribute meaningfully to overall antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. Vitamin C and Vitamin E work in tandem: Vitamin C regenerates oxidised Vitamin E, creating a self-reinforcing antioxidant network that is more effective than either nutrient in isolation.
Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) contributes to cellular energy production through its role in NAD+ metabolism, and supports healthy skin structure, nervous system function, and normal psychological function. Unlike nicotinic acid, nicotinamide does not cause the vasodilatory flushing response, making it well-tolerated at the dose provided.
Targeted Clinical Benefits
C E B Optima is formulated to deliver structured micronutrient support across seven key physiological targets:
- Reduction of free radicals formed in the body through coordinated water- and fat-soluble antioxidant systems
- Support collagen formation and connective tissue integrity via Vitamin C cofactor activity in collagen synthesis
- Maintain healthy immune system function through Vitamin C-mediated immune cell support
- Support skin integrity, structure, and repair through collagen synthesis and antioxidant protection
- Contribute to cellular energy production and metabolism via Nicotinamide and NAD+ pathway support
- Support cardiovascular system health through antioxidant protection of vascular tissue and lipoproteins
- Maintain general health and wellbeing where dietary micronutrient intake may be insufficient
Who C E B Optima Is Designed For
Adults exposed to environmental or occupational oxidative stress seeking structured antioxidant protection
Individuals seeking immune maintenance and micronutrient sufficiency where dietary intake may be inadequate
Those focused on skin and connective tissue integrity, collagen support, and structural recovery
